Recreation

Participation in sport and recreation can result in a wide range of social, economic and environmental benefits for individuals and the broader communities in which they live. When people are physically active they are healthier, happier and more socially active. It allows people of all ages to participate in activities that contribute to the growth of body, mind and spirit. Sport and recreation can help enhance community identity and promote community integration – accessibility can be a major influence in where people choose to live, work and play.

Inspiring Place has worked on projects of many different scales to create recreational experiences, facilities and spaces that delight, inform and connect.
