Kingborough Sports Precinct Planning

Kingborough Sports Precinct Planning

Kingborough Council

Inspiration

Over the past decade the context in which sport and recreation are being delivered has changed dramatically. Population growth, the time available for training and competition and
the evolving expectations of users and spectators for high quality facilities are all driving local State governments to reconsider their approach to their assets, services and programes.

Outcomes

As lead consultants to the Kingborough Council responsible for broad stakeholder consultation, site master planning, report and plan deliverables, detailed design and documentation, we have established a dynamic new vision for the Kingborough Sports Precinct.

Our initial master plan in 2009 has garnered over $5.5M in grants for capital works, $0.5M of which we designed and detailed for construciton.

Recognition

Today we are developing a bold new suite of initiatives that will make the Precinct a leader in achieving outstanding socio-economic benefits for the Tasmanian community through immersion and integration of education, health, community well-being and recreation. Watch this space.
