Rosny Hill Management Strategy
As a well known scenic lookout and ‘island’ of native vegetation in a suburban surround, a Management Strategy for Rosny Hill was required that reflects the site’s significance.
The Strategy establishes a comprehensive management framework for the reserve that seeks to balance conservation, with the enhancement of recreational and tourism amenity. Management strategies focus on partnerships, sustainability of reserve values, bushfire management, improving the visitor experience and infrastructure, enhancing the trail network, addressing anti-social behaviour, and implementing a regular maintenance program.
The Strategy has been adopted by Council, giving them a clear guide to the mechanisms necessary for its preservation and on-going development and management.
