Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens Strategic Master Plan

The project guides the future use, management, conservation and enhancement of the Botanic Gardens for the next 50 years.

It establishes a management framework including a vision, mission, goals, policies, strategies and action plan. The Master Plan illustrates aspirational projects as a lever to fund-raising within Government and private sector.

The Plan provides a world leading approach to the evaluation of living collections giving critical guidance to the evolution of the plantings within the Gardens. Interpretive strategies underpin the delivery of a quality visitor experience and identified business opportunities will assist fund-raising and economic self-sufficiency.
